Brethren,
Welcome to www.biblestudents.jp. Eventually,
this website will be used to
disseminate the Harvest Message in the Japanese language. For now, we
would
like to invite you to enjoy some of the sights and sounds of our recent
visit to
Japan. Six of our brethren spent a week in Japan including: Tim Alexander,
Todd Alexander, Marilyn Alexander, Emily Crisan, Lydia Kindig and Ellen
Alexander. The Columbus Bible Students Ecclesia would like to share
their experiences
in Japan with you.
On May 3-4, 2003, the Japanese Bible Students
conducted a two day convention
at the Shonan Village Resort in Hayama Japan. The links above will allow
you
to browse the Convention Schedule, Discourses and Testimonies. In addition,
you will be able to browse five different categories of pictures taken
during
the week of the convention. The pictures with captions include your
Japanese
brethren at convention, pictures of Japanese nature, a Japanese Shinto
temple,
Tatsumi and Kayoko Katsuno San's home and miscellanous pictures during
our
sightseeing adventures. Our hope is that you will be able to become
more
acquainted with your Japanese brethren.
You will notice in the captions and in the testimonies
that the word "San"
follows each Japanese name. This is the Japanese verbal method of bestowing
the
appropriate amount of honor and respect on their Japanese brethren.
The Columbus Bible Students Ecclesia is currently
working with the Japanese
brethren to publish the Harvest Message both on the internet and in
print.
This information will be posted to this site as it becomes available.
Please stop back periodically, the site will
be changing continually.
In the Bonds of Christ,
Todd Alexander and The Columbus Bible Students Ecclesia
